2014 Cub Scout Summer Camp

Join our Knights of the Flint River Council for a summer quest!  We are looking for a large band of Merry Men for a week full of amazing activities at the Archers Arcade and Sir Galahads Gallery (ranges), Squires Training Camp (Scout Skills), Conquest of Conquerors (Obstacle Course), Knights vs. Knaves (Sports), Coronation Park (Den areas), the Round Table (admin tent), and Camelot (Tot Lot). 

Musketeers, are you up for the challenge?  Bring your friends along and join us at the Royal Tournament Field.  Watch out for the Knaves and Wayfarers as you cross the Moat to a week of fun!

Monday - Registrations -  8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

                   9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m. - camp hours

Tuesday  9:00 a.m. - 3:00 pm

Wednesday  9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Friday  9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

4th and 5th Graders (Webelos) will have an overnight camp on Thursday night.  Parents do not have to attend but are encouraged to attend.

Attend with your Pack or Den or as an Individual Scout. 

Note:  New Scouts entering 1st grade in the fall of 2014 must attend with an adult partner.

Cost:  $100.00 – includes one t-shirt and a patch

(Register before 04/01/14 for $10 off per scout.  Registrations after May 25 incur a $25 late fee)

(Additional t-shirts are available at a cost of $9 per shirt)

If your Scout sells 100 cards, they can attend Day Camp with a fully paid scholarship!  A link will be forwarded to you in May to register for this scholarship and you must complete the registration to receive your scholarship.  This scholarship is in addition to any fees held at your Pack for each card sold.

Remember that only 36 cards sold completely pays for Day Camp!  Note that your Pack has all of your camp card funds.  If you are not eligible for the 100 Cards Sold Scholarship, please contact your Pack concerning payment of your balance due for Day Camp. 

Grandparents, parents, leaders, etc. - Day & Twilight Camps need You!

Day Camp cannot operate without volunteers.  We would love your help and you are able to sign up to volunteer when registering your Scout. 

If you cannot volunteer all week please let us know which days you are able to come and work, or split the week with another adult family member.

Each Pack is required to send 1 Adult per every 5 Scouts from their Pack who attend Day Camp. 

If you have potty trained children that are not of Cub Scout age, a tot lot will be available for non-scout age children of volunteers. 

Late registrations after May 25th will be charged a late fee of $25.
