Internet Advancement

Effective July 1, 2015 all advancement is required to be entered using the Internet Advancement Tool.

With the Internet Advancement tool, you will be able to process ranks, awards and merit badges for your pack, troop, crew or post.  You will also be able to download advancement informatioin if you are using any of the following software tools; Troopmaster, Scoutmate, Rank N' File and ScoutScoft. To receive your unit ID number, please call the Scout Service Center at 770-227-4556.


To use Internet Advancement:
1.  Select the unit advancement processor.  This person must have internet coneectivity and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

2.  Obtain a unit ID code from the council.

3.  Gather information for advancement, including merig badge application and advancement records with dates.

4.  Click the Internet Advancment button on this page.  Follow the instruction in the Intenet Advancment to process advancements and print and advancement report.  Be sure to clidk "Update" or "Refresh" or "Renew" button to load the most current roster.

5.  Have the appropriagte people sign the printed unit advancement report and submit it to the council.  Save a copy for your files.

Units should submit monthly before the end of of each month or more often if needed. In December,submit a report before the end of the month to update unit and council statistics.
