Wood Badge 2018

WHAT IS WOOD BADGE?

Wood Badge is the premier training program for all Scout Leaders in the Boy Scouts of America.  Wood Badge is designed to train adult volunteers to use the latest leadership skills and techniques.  It is a once in a life time training experience.

There are two parts to the Wood Badge course:

The first part consists of two weekends (Friday-Sunday) of practical experience where you have the opportunity to learn skills and concepts.

The second part is a plan to apply what you learned in the pratical course.

WHY WOOD BADGE?

1-Scouts will benefit.  You will learn leadership skill that will enhance the Scouting program at all levels.

2-You'll have FUN!  Wood Badge brings out the best in all of us.  You will make lifelong Scouting friends and have the time of your life.

3-Many Scouters consider Wood Badge to be a major milestone in their Scouting experience.  It has inspired them to be more effective in serving the youth in their units, districts and councils.
