Register by contacting Jonathan Swatts or completing the online registration for your Troop/Crew

The cost will be $15 per Adult and Scout, collected when Troops arrive at the Camporee.

General Information:

Upon arrival at the camporee site, units will check in, register and pay any remaining fees at the camporee headquarters.  Units will camp in the primitive area (Elkins site) along the river.  If this area is too wet/muddy for use, then the gravel parking lot and the Elijay primitive site will be available for use.

Troop vehicles will be allowed to transport unit equipment for offloading. Once accomplished the vehicles must return to the designated parking area. One unit trailer may remain in the campsite area.

Climbing Merit Badge Requirements:

The purpose of this camporee is to have fun.  However, scouts will have the opportunity to work on portions of requirements 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12.

Cycling Merit Badge Requirements:

The purpose of this camporee is to have fun.  However, scouts will have the opportunity to work on portions of requirements 1,2,3,7b

Scouts and Volunteers that have their own cycling gear (bike, helmet, pump, ect) are encouraged to bring their personal gear, but it is not required.  We will have bikes and safety gear available for scouts to use during the camporee.  Helmets must be worn by all cyclists any time they are riding a bike.  No bike riding is allowed in the camping area.
