The Flint River Council presents the Boy Scout STEM Program!

Earn your Shoot NOVA award while enjoying the fun of summer camp by attending this week of Summer Camp at Camp Thunder!

Stay with your Troop or come as a provisional scout to this first of its kind week at Camp Thunder.  Each day you will experience unique programming designed to work on the NOVA Shoot award with fun, hands on learning.  Adventures include visits to the Warner Robbins Air Force Museum Simulators, The Coca Cola Space Science Centerin Columbus, the Peachtree City National Weather Service center and more.  Activities will take place during the traditional merit badge times where possible, allowing the Scouts to participate in most activities with their Troops.  The program will end on thursday evening, allowing the Scouts to be with their Troops during the Thunder Experience on Friday.  There should also be an opportunity for Scouts to take 1 traditional merit badge class during the week at camp.

The fees for this camp are the same as traditional camp:

$275 in council

$300 out of council

$130 for adults (2 free with 5 boys and 1 additional free with each additional 10 after first 5)
