Merit Badge Day Camp 2014
Welcome! It is exciting to see our youth enjoying the Merit Badge Day Camp program. Local professionals have continued to partner with us - using their skills and knowledge to equip Scouts. The cost is $20 per registered class.

(These items can also be completed after the class. The items listed below are what the instructor does not believe that he/she will be able to adequately cover. No class has a guarantee of completion, but our goal is to accomplish as much as possible.)

1. Show your counselor your current, up-to-date Cyber Chip.
Earn the Cyber Chip: Earning the Cyber Chip can help you learn how to stay safe while you are online and using social networks or the latest electronic gadgets. Topics include cell phone use, texting, blogging, gaming, cyberbullying, and identity theft. Find out more about the Cyber Chip at www.scouting.org/cyberchip.

Electricity (Friday) – Requirements 2 & 8
2. Complete an electrical home safety inspection of your home, using the checklist found in this pamphlet or one approved by your counselor. Discuss what you find with your counselor.
8. Make a floor plan wiring diagram of the lights, switches, and outlets for a room in your home. Show which fuse or circuit breaker protects each one.
